Fjörugardurinn and Fjaran Restaurant
Step into the world of the past, the World of the Vikings. Our guests have two restaurants to choose from, Fjörugardurinn and Fjaran. At Fjörugardurinn the décor is Viking-style and we offer true Viking feasts with traditional food served in old-fashioned trays. Guests can expect treats and surprises from our singing Valkyries and Vikings. The fun reaches its height when the Fjöruchieftain crowns a guest as an Honorary Viking. Fjaran is a cosy restaurant that provides an elegant dining experience (à la carte) and can seat up to 58 guests. It is ideally situated, offering a picturesque view of the harbour. Built in 1841, recently renovated and restored to its original style, it provides a cosy, romantic atmosphere. We emphasise fish and game, but in Fjaran we also offer a wide selection of gourmet dishes.
